Continue through the colourful flower market and traditional neighbourhoods, where flowers, पूजा सामग्री, sweets and local handicrafts create a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in Kashi.

Vishwanath Gali
Walk through the historic Vishwanath Gali, lined with small shops selling religious articles, Banarasi souvenirs, silk products and traditional sweets. The lane leads towards the sacred Kashi Vishwanath area.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple Area
Pass through the temple surroundings and learn about the religious and cultural importance of Kashi Vishwanath. Temple darshan can be arranged separately, subject to prevailing entry arrangements and timings.

Man Mandir Ghat
Proceed towards the riverfront and explore the historic Man Mandir Ghat, known for its distinctive architecture and connection with the astronomical observatory.

Dashashwamedh Ghat
Continue to Dashashwamedh Ghat, one of the most prominent ghats of Varanasi. Take a moment to observe pilgrims, priests, boats and the timeless rhythm of life along the Ganga.

Manikarnika Ghat
Continue towards Manikarnika Ghat, one of Varanasi's most sacred cremation ghats. Your guide will respectfully explain its spiritual significance and the traditional beliefs associated with liberation in Kashi. Photography around cremation activities should be avoided out of respect for local customs.

Optional: Scindia Ghat & Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple
If the walking pace and time permit, continue towards Scindia Ghat to view the distinctive leaning Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple, often compared with the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
