DAY 1

Arrival in Bhubaneswar & Heritage Temple City Walk

Dinner

Arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport/Station. Check in to your hotel. Visit the ancient Kalinga temples: Lingaraj, Mukteshvara, and Rajarani. In the evening, visit the Odisha State Museum to admire palm-leaf manuscripts and ancient sculptures.

DAY 2

Excursion to Buddhist Diamond Triangle: Ratnagiri, Udayagiri & Lalitgiri

Breakfast & Dinner

Set out on a full-day excursion to the Buddhist Diamond Triangle (approx. 90 km). Explore Ratnagiri’s magnificent carved stone portal, colossal seated Buddha, and monastic cells. Continue to Udayagiri with its grand stepped well and rock sculptures, and Lalitgiri with its ancient relic casket stupa. Return to Bhubaneswar.

DAY 3

Bhubaneswar to Bhitarkanika National Park (Mangrove Safari)

Breakfast & Dinner

Drive towards Bhitarkanika National Park (approx. 130 km / 3.5 hrs), India’s second largest mangrove ecosystem. Check in at your jungle resort near Dangmal. In the afternoon, board a forest boat safari along the creeks to spot colossal estuarine crocodiles basking on the mudbanks, monitor lizards, and diverse bird species.

DAY 4

Bhitarkanika to Puri via Dhauli Shanti Stupa

Breakfast & Dinner

Enjoy a morning nature walk through the bird sanctuary. Drive towards the coastal holy town of Puri. En route, stop at Dhauli Peace Pagoda to witness the rock edicts inscribed by Emperor Ashoka after the Kalinga war. Arrive in Puri and check in to your beach resort.

DAY 5

Puri Jagannath Temple Darshan & Konark Sun Temple Sunset

Breakfast & Dinner

Morning darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple. Walk along the beach and sample traditional sweet Khaja. In the afternoon, drive along the marine highway to the UNESCO Konark Sun Temple to admire the stunning stone wheels and chariot sculptures bathed in the golden sunset.

DAY 6

Raghurajpur Crafts Village & Bhubaneswar Departure

Breakfast

Visit the heritage craft village of Raghurajpur to see artisans painting Pattachitra scrolls. Transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for departure.
