Nepal is our sacred Himalayan neighbour, home to ancient Vedic shrines and the tallest mountain peaks on earth. On this 5-day journey, seek blessings at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of Bagmati River, circumambulate the colossal Boudhanath Stupa, and explore the ancient Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley. Travel to Pokhara, nestled at the base of the Annapurna range. Gaze upon the snow-capped Fish Tail (Machhapuchhre) peak reflected in the calm waters of Phewa Lake, watch the sunrise over the Himalayas from Sarangkot, and visit the sacred underground cave of Gupteshwor Mahadev.

DAY 1

Kathmandu Arrival & Sacred Pashupatinath Evening Sandhya Aarti

Dinner

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Meet our local representative and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of the Bagmati River. Witness the mesmerizing evening Maha Aarti ceremony performed by Vedic priests with ringing bronze bells and oil lamps.

DAY 2

Kathmandu Sightseeing & Drive to Pokhara via Trishuli River

Breakfast & Dinner

Morning visit to the ancient hilltop stupa of Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) offering panoramic views over the Kathmandu valley, and the monumental Boudhanath Stupa. Later, embark on a scenic drive along the Trishuli River to the picturesque valley of Pokhara (approx. 200 km / 6 hrs). Check in to your hotel near Lakeside.

DAY 3

Sarangkot Annapurna Sunrise, Phewa Lake Boat & Caves Tour

Breakfast & Dinner

Wake up before dawn and drive up to Sarangkot (1,600 m) to witness a golden sunrise illuminating Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail). Return for breakfast. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake to visit the Tal Barahi Temple on the central island. Visit Devi’s Fall and the sacred subterranean shrine of Gupteshwor Mahadev.

DAY 4

Pokhara to Kathmandu via Manakamana Temple / Bhaktapur

Breakfast & Dinner

Drive back towards Kathmandu. Optionally stop at Kurintar to take the cable car to the wish-fulfilling temple of Goddess Manakamana. Arrive in Kathmandu and visit the medieval architectural marvel of Bhaktapur Durbar Square with its 55-window palace and Nyatapola temple.

DAY 5

Kathmandu Souvenir Shopping & Airport Departure

Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Explore the vibrant tourist hub of Thamel for authentic pashmina shawls, singing bowls, and prayer flags. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight.
