This 6-day wildlife expedition connects Assam’s two crown jewels of conservation: Manas National Park and Kaziranga National Park. Manas, located at the foothills of the Bhutan Himalayas, is a Project Tiger reserve, elephant corridor, and biosphere reserve known for rare species like the Pygmy Hog, Golden Langur, and Hispid Hare. Kaziranga offers dense populations of One-Horned Rhinoceroses and Royal Bengal Tigers. DAY 1

Guwahati Arrival & Drive to Manas National Park

Dinner

Arrive at Guwahati Airport. Meet our tour guide and embark on a scenic drive west to the foothills of the Bhutan Himalayas at Manas National Park (approx. 140 km / 3.5 hrs). Check in to your eco-resort overlooking the forest. Spend the evening enjoying a campfire and traditional Bodo folk dance.

DAY 2

Full Day Manas Safari & Border River Rafting

Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Embark on a morning 4x4 jeep safari through the Mathanguri range of Manas along the Manas River. Spot Golden Langurs playing in the canopy, herds of wild elephants, and water buffaloes. In the afternoon, enjoy gentle river rafting along the Indo-Bhutan border with pristine mountain backdrops.

DAY 3

Manas to Kaziranga National Park via Tea Trails

Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, drive east across central Assam towards Kaziranga National Park (approx. 280 km / 6 hrs). Drive through the scenic Brahmaputra valley flanked by rolling green tea estates. Arrive in Kaziranga by late afternoon and check in to your resort.

DAY 4

Kaziranga Elephant Safari & Dual Range Jeep Safaris

Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Early morning elephant safari in the Central (Kohora) range for intimate rhino encounters. Return for breakfast. In the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating jeep safari in the Western (Bagori) range, prime habitat for rhinos, tigers, and wild boars.

DAY 5

Kaziranga to Guwahati & Umananda Temple Island

Breakfast & Dinner

Drive back to Guwahati (approx. 220 km). Take a short ferry ride to Umananda Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River to visit the ancient Shiva temple. Check in to your Guwahati hotel and enjoy an authentic Assamese Thali dinner.

DAY 6

Maa Kamakhya Darshan & Guwahati Departure

Breakfast

Morning blessing at the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hill. Transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with incredible wildlife memories.
