DAY 1

Day 01: Arrival Bagdogra / NJP – Drive to Darjeeling (Queen of Hills)

Meet your chauffeur at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and begin the scenic mountain ascent to Darjeeling (approx. 70 km / 3 hrs), driving past emerald tea gardens and mountain railway tracks. Arrive in Darjeeling (2,042m altitude), check in at your hotel, and relax. Spend the evening strolling around the historic Chowrasta / Mall.

DAY 2

Day 02: Tiger Hill Sunrise, Batasia Loop & Darjeeling Heritage

Early morning wake-up call at 4:00 AM to drive to Tiger Hill. Watch in awe as dawn illuminates the colossal snow-capped peaks of Mount Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest in brilliant shades of pink and gold. On the way down, visit the 1875 Ghoom Monastery and the war memorial at Batasia Loop. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (home to snow leopards and red pandas), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), and Happy Valley Tea Estate.

DAY 3

Day 03: Darjeeling to Gangtok (Capital of Sikkim) – 100 km / 4 hrs

Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, traveling along the gushing emerald waters of the Teesta River. Cross the border into Sikkim, obtain permits, and arrive in Gangtok (1,650m altitude). Check in at your hotel. In the evening, explore the pedestrian-only MG Marg, lined with cafes, flowerbeds, and Sikkimese handicraft shops.

DAY 4

Day 04: Excursion to Glacial Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (12,400 ft)

Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, embark on an exhilarating excursion to sacred Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) at 12,400 ft altitude. The glacial alpine lake reflects the rugged snow-capped peaks and changing colours of the sky. Enjoy a yak ride along the lake shore. Continue further uphill to Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Mandir (13,200 ft), steeped in Indian Army lore, and gaze towards the high mountain ridges of the historic Silk Route / Nathu La. Return to Gangtok in the late afternoon.

DAY 5

Day 05: Gangtok Monasteries & Return to Darjeeling / Kalimpong

Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast, visit the majestic Rumtek Monastery (seat of the Karmapa Lama), the golden Do Drul Chorten stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and flower exhibition centre. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Darjeeling / Kalimpong for your final night in the hills.

Day 06: Mountain Descent to Bagdogra / NJP Departure
